About me
Composer, performer and artist based in Rome, Italy.
My musical journey began in Italy, where I explored the rhythms of Brazilian and flamenco guitar, the structure of classical piano, and the freedom of jazz piano. I moved to New York City to continue my studies at the Mannes School of Jazz and the Institute of Audio Research, where I started to compose for images — short films, documentaries.
A chapter in West Africa followed, in Burkina Faso, where I worked in a recording studio and immersed myself in the study of traditional percussion.
Back in Rome, I recorded original compositions, performed with my jazz trio, and continued scoring for film, documentary, and commercial work. I also began to delve deeply into the saxophone, expanding my expressive range and voice as a performer. My soundtracks have accompanied films selected by international festivals, including the Venice Film Festival. I've had the opportunity to record with orchestras (as well as small ensembles) both in Italy and abroad.
In recent years, I’ve moved toward electronic music, blending acoustic elements with live electronics.
I collaborate as a saxophonist with social theatre projects, bringing music into spaces of healing and transformation — from prisons to marginalized communities.
Alongside my creative work, I teach piano, saxophone, harmony and composition, sharing what I’ve learned through my life.
